Flowers In The Hills 1

April 3rd to April 10th

Ride Director: Becky Hettinger
Ride Co-Director: Charlie Hettinger
Report by: Summer Sauve

Flowers in the Hills has a fabulous diversity of bike routes. We wished that we could ride them all! There are long and shorter rides, wandering through ranch roads. The hotel was super nice, larger than normal rooms. The breakfast was good. I always enjoy going to  breakfast and seeing all the happy, busy bikers in their jerseys getting ready for the bike ride.

I appreciated that there was a good grocery store a short walk away, lots of good restaurants and shops within walking distance. I used the pool a few times. The happy hours were in a large spacious conference room with the best food on any trip I've been on.  If you get a chance to go to Longneck Manor, you will be able to pet a rhino and feed giraffes. See the photos. Being from the north I appreciate the 70-80 degree weather and sunshine and a chance to ride my bike. The bike I rented was good. In all a very enjoyable trip. Becky and Charlie were super friendly and helpful.
